To add a link to words on your page or post, follow these steps:

• from your page or post, highlight the text you want to add the link to – shown below in blue highlight
• click on the “link” icon in the toolbar

• add the url into the pop-up box
• make sure that you use the http:// if you are linking to another website, e.g. http://www.nataliealaimo.com
• add a title that describes the page – this is optional
• if you want the link page to open in a new window, check the box “Open link in a new window/tab” box – this is recommended when you are linking to an external webpage

• to link to an existing page on the same website, search or scroll down to find that page, highlight the page you want, then click on “Add Link” at the bottom of the pop-up box

•  add a “Title”
• it’s not necessary to check the box “Open link in a new window/tab” because the web page is on the same website
